I spent last weekend in Aarhus, Denmark. I had never heard of Aarhus before my friends and I made plans to visit, but it's the second largest city in Denmark and reminded me a lot of Copenhagen.
Aarhus was hosting a city-wide festival that week, so the city was especially vibrant and the was filled with street performers, musicians, craft markets, and beer tents.

My favorite part of the trip was getting to see the ARoS Aarhus Museum of Modern Art. ARoS is much more interactive than your typical art museum and features a number of light and video installations. On the roof of ARoS, there is a large circular platform that uses colored glass and lighting to give a kaleidoscopic panoramic view of the city.
